Your Dropbox profile contains information about you, including:

• Email address
• Password
• Username
• Profile photo (optional)

If you're a member of a Dropbox team (for example, on a Dropbox Business or Dropbox Education plan), your profile will also include your team's name.

It's important to keep your profile info up to date. This helps us keep you informed about your account, and helps you regain account access if you forget your password. You can change your profile information by visiting the account settings page on dropbox.com.

Change your password on dropbox.com

1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
2. Click your name at the top of any page.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the Security tab.
5. Click Change password or Forgot password?

Change your email address on dropbox.com

1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
2. Click your name at the top of any page.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the Profile tab.
5. Click Change email

Change your username on dropbox.com

1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
2. Click your name at the top of any page.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select the Profile tab.
5. Click Change beside your name

Other actions you can take on the account settings page:

• View the amount of space you have available, and upgrade
• Manage your account settings and preferences
• Administer the computers linked to your Dropbox account
• View and administer the third-party apps linked to your Dropbox account.
• See the referral status of the friends you've invited


• Note: Dropbox Business users won't see the Referrals tab, as they have access to as much space as they need.

Dropbox Business admins

If you're an admin on a Dropbox Business, Dropbox Enterprise, or Dropbox Education team, you can change your team's name at any time.

Dropbox Business users

If you’ve connected personal and work Dropbox accounts, you’ll see a tab on the Settings page for each account. From there, you can:

• Disconnect your Dropbox accounts on the Profile tab
• Enable two-step verification on the Security tab
• Change your language preference on the Profile tab
